Celebrating success: Lena Rockstein Runner-Up at KWF-DTIM 2024
We are proud to share that Lena Rockstein, one of our InnoCAR‑T doctoral researchers hosted at UMCG, was named Runner‑Up for the PhD student (AIO) award at the KWF Kankerbestrijding Dutch Tumour Immunology Meeting (KWF‑DTIM), held on 13–14 June 2025 in Breukelen, the Netherlands During the meeting, our DC, Lena, presented her project developed within the framework of the PhD research under the InnoCAR-T network. Her presentation was selected by the jury as one of the top contributions in the PhD student category, in recognition of its scientific quality and impact. KWF‑DTIM is a premier, two‑day annual meeting—running for over two decades—organised by the KWF working society for tumour immunology. The event brings together scientists at all career stages from across the Netherlands and abroad, offering a relaxed yet intellectually rich atmosphere. It features keynote lectures by renowned international experts, oral sessions, laptop poster discussions, and dedicated workshops on topics such as valorisation and cellular immunotherapy
